Philosophically, it represents a rupture in the ethical recognition of "the Other," enabling atrocities by eroding empathy and moral accountability. This article examines the mechanisms of dehumanization employed by Nazi Germany against Jews and Slavs, Imperial Japan’s atrocities against the Chinese through Unit 731, and explores analogous rhetoric and policies in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Negli ultimi anni, ciò che sorprende non sono tanto le politiche divisive di leader come Donald Trump, ma piuttosto il modo in cui l'Occidente sembra aver abbracciato scelte e direttive che, a molti, appaiono discutibili e talvolta irrazionali. Dall'obbligo di sostituire le auto a combustione interna entro il 2035, passando per la transizione verde accelerata, fino alle accese discussioni sull'identità di genere e alle politiche vaccinali che hanno polarizzato le società, si è assistito a un profondo cambiamento culturale e politico.

In questo contesto, l'Europa ha assunto i tratti di un "Moloch burocratico", una macchina amministrativa iper-regolatrice che interviene in modo sempre più invasivo nella vita dei cittadini. Dalle sanzioni alla Russia, con l'annesso dibattito sull'abolizione della sua cultura, fino al sostegno incondizionato all'Ucraina – che molti interpretano idioticamente come una lotta simbolica contro un gigante in declino – si delinea un quadro complesso e frammentato, a tratti psicotico (non dimentichiamo i chip rubati dalle lavatrici, i condizionatori o la pace, le munizioni terminatem il massacro di Buca ecc ecc).

Questa deriva burocratica e ideologica, unita a decisioni che appaiono più dettate da pressioni globali che da un dialogo interno consapevole, ha condotto l'Europa verso un baratro economico, sociale e culturale. Nel frattempo, mentre gli Stati Uniti sembrano aver intrapreso un percorso di riposizionamento strategico, il Vecchio Continente appare sempre più intrappolato in un tunnel di trasformazioni rapide e incerte, senza che una chiara via d'uscita si profili all'orizzonte.

Gli Usa stanno cambiando rotta mentre l'Europa è ancora guidata da utili idioti che, al cambio del burattinaio, ora non sanno in che modo ricalibrare la filastrocca imparata a memoria negli ultimi anni.
